FWB's Flexible Benefits Plan encompasses a wide variety of benefit options and takes effect for full-time employees on the 1st of month following 30 days of employment.
Benefit options include pre-tax medical, dental, vision and health care spending (FSA) plans and post-tax buy-up options on dependent life insurance, long term care and additional life and accidental death and dismemberment. All benefit eligible employees receive life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment valued at four times their base salary, a base long term care plan, business travel accident insurance, long term disability valued at 60% of their monthly salary and Assist America emergency travel assistance.
Employees are also eligible to participate in 401k, and Profit Sharing after one year of service and 1,000 hours worked. Enrollment is on the May 1 or November 1 following their anniversary date. Participants in the 401k plan can contribute up to 90% of their salary on a pre-tax basis (up to IRS yearly limitations) and receive a 401k match up to $500 per fiscal year. Profit Sharing plans are funded and managed by FWB. Contributions are made on October 31st each year. All retirement plans are on a 6 year vesting schedule.
