Fowler White Boggs is growing to add depth and breadth to its practices and to offer a higher level of service to our client base. We recognize the importance of protecting our investment and most important asset; our people. Fowler White University is our internal professional development program to develop and retain our people. We offer Continuing Legal Education opportunities for attorneys and paralegals to participate in, as well as a myriad of course offerings in the MS Office Suite of software programs for our staff.
This program is a series of orientation, training and social events designed to help new attorneys integrate with the Firm. The program is individually tailored to each lawyer’s experience level and is a worthwhile investment of time. The goals of the program are: to cross-market new lawyers to all practices; to develop new clients and provide high level services to existing clients; to provide internal networking opportunities for firm lawyers; and to increase and expand lawyer expertise in a wide range of disciplines.
FWB actively supports the continued education and advancement of our paralegals. We provide financial assistance towards obtaining the Certified Legal Assistant and Certified Paralegal designations, as well as, recertification classes. In addition, we sponsor memberships in local and national professional organizations to aid in networking and increase job knowledge.
We encourage all staff members to expand their skills and maintain an adequate level of knowledge and proficiency in the field in which they work. To contribute to this effort, we provide a first rate list of IT Training classes that are offered on a regular basis.
We also provide a variety of physical and mental health lunch-and-learns to support our staff in maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
