Fort Myers, FL – Michael J. Ciccarone has joined the law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker as a shareholder in the Environmental and Land Practice Group in its Fort Myers office. Most recently in private practice, Mr. Ciccarone previously served as the senior land use attorney in the Lee County Attorney's Office, where he wrote many of the regulations in place today. His multi-disciplinary practice involves real estate, land development and eminent domain law.

Mr. Ciccarone has participated in international environmental law seminars in Rome, London, and Florida. He has given lectures on impact fees and Florida land use law around the country, and he co-authored the first transferable impact fee credit ordinance.
In addition, he was an instructor at Kent State University, Edison College, and the American Institute of Banking, and he has lectured at the University of Florida School of Law. He previously was the City Attorney and City Manager of Kent, Ohio.
Mr. Ciccarone is a member of the Florida Bar, Lee County Bar Association and the Urban Land Institute, and he is the former chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the 20th Judicial Circuit. He received his bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and his law degree from Duke University.
