Green Development Opportunities and Incentives
December 14, 2007

Renewable energy and green building have quickly become a significant theme throughout our nation. This focus is occurring because the public is becoming more and more environmentally conscience. Quickly, many government buildings are now being required to be built “green” and the private building producers are seeing a greater demand for a “green” product. While the public sector is primarily responsible for renewable energy and green building initiatives, it is clear that the private sector is also playing a leading role. The public sector role is to be a leader in the move towards utilizing, and in some cases requiring, green practices.
