Employment Group Joins Fowler White

            Three additional labor and employment lawyers from the law firm of Coffman, Coleman , Andrews & Grogan have joined the Jacksonville office of Fowler White Boggs Banker.    Eric J. Holshouser, Timothy B. Strong and Heather M. Gwinn have joined Fowler White.  They join former Coffman Coleman partners, Robert G. Riegel, Jeffrey P. Watson, and Melissa A. Dearing, who also recently joined Fowler White. 

            According to John Marino , managing shareholder of Fowler White’s Jacksonville office, “The addition of this group further solidifies our labor and employment practice and is another significant step in accomplishing our strategic growth plan.  We are truly excited about the depth and experience Eric, Tim and Heather add to our office and our firm’s labor and employment practice.” 

            Eric J. Holshouser is a labor and employment lawyer and litigator with 28 years of experience. He was a shareholder at Coffman Coleman since 1985 where he advised clients, litigated, published materials, frequently lectured and otherwise handled legal matters concerning all aspects of labor and employment law.  He is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in labor and employment law and is listed in Best Lawyers in America , Florida Super Lawyers and Chambers USA America 's Leading Lawyers for Business.   Holshouser received his J.D. from Duke University in 1980 after having received his B.A. and M.A. in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois.

            Timothy B. Strong , also a partner at Coffman and Coleman , has practiced labor and employment law since 1985.  He has handled a broad range of matters including civil rights litigation, EEO compliance, sexual harassment investigations and litigation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance and litigation, discrimination charges, wage and hour matters, and collective bargaining and other union matters.  Strong received his B.A. cum laude from the University of South Florida and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Florida. 

                Heather M. Gwinn also practices labor and employment law, focusing on discrimination cases, Family and Medical Leave Act, sexual harassment cases, Fair Labor Standards Act and employment covenants.  Gwinn received her B.A. from Wittenberg University and her J.D. from the University of  Denver Sturm College of Law.
