The Land Use and Zoning Practice Group at Fowler White Boggs has extensive experience and knowledge of land use and zoning law. Many of our attorneys previously practiced at cities, counties and state agencies in Florida, allowing them to develop intimate knowledge of governmental regulations and procedures, and to establish long-standing relationships that enable them to better guide clients through the approval and permitting processes.
Our Land Use and Zoning attorneys help clients maximize the potential use of their property by assisting in local and state government processes such as rezoning, comprehensive plan amendments, developments of regional impact, development agreements, establishment of community development districts, variances, special uses or exceptions, concurrency issues, impact fee issues and historic preservation approvals. Our attorneys regularly represent our clients at public hearings before local government boards and commissions.
We also assist our clients with many other related matters, such as real estate transactions, identifying economic incentive opportunities, green building, water resource issues, and related enviromental issues. In addition, we are actively involved with the legislative process at both the state and local levels to insure that our clients' concerns are addressed.
