The Construction Litigation Group represents clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation concerning construction related disputes. We have a statewide litigation practice representing private and public owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals and suppliers in a broad range of construction matters.
The Construction Litigation Group includes attorneys who are Board certified by The Florida Bar in construction law and civil trial law, and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in the area of civil trial advocacy. The Group has significant experience in both prosecuting and defending claims in civil trials in both state and federal courts, arbitration matters before the American Arbitration Association, and alternative dispute resolutions, including mediation and non-binding arbitration. Our attorneys are experienced in the handling of a wide range of matters, including multi-million dollar construction deficiency claims, delay claims, geotechnical earth movement issues, performance and payment bonds, mechanics liens, and Miller Act issues.
Because of the team approach employed by Fowler White Boggs, if necessary, the Construction Litigation Group can obtain assistance handling litigation matters for its clients in related areas, including product liability issues, regulatory environmental issues, real estate disputes, labor employment disputes, and personal injury and property damage claims arising out of construction projects. The Group also has experience in handling toxic tort claims, mold claims, and issues surrounding construction materials, ladders, scaffolding, and material handling equipment.
