Government Contracts

The Government Contracts Group has the knowledge and experience to help clients navigate the complex maze of state and local statutes and rules regarding the public bid process.  Not only do attorneys in this group assist clients on the front end in reviewing and analyzing procurement documents before they bid, but lawyers also represent clientele throughout the entire process, including negotiations, until the contract is either secured or a protest and litigation is necessary to protect your position.  The Government Contracts Group has experience representing businesses in both defending and contesting potential contract awards before many state agencies, local governments and quasi-governmental entities.

Attorneys in this group can help prepare special contracts, negotiate with public agencies or subcontractors and assist with regulatory and legislative processes, if necessary.  The Government Contracts Group works closely with lawyers in other practice groups to deal with issues of funding, licensing, trademarks, patents, technology transfer and other technical issues in the most effective manner.
