Rochelle Kentov, Regional Director of the National Labor Relations Board in Tampa, will be a special guest speaker. As Regional Director, she supervises National Labor Relations Board activities in all of Florida (except for 12 western counties) and 21 counties in Georgia. The National Labor Relations Board administers and enforces the National Labor Relations Act. Its principal functions are to investigate and remedy unfair labor practices and to conduct secret-ballot elections to determine whether employees desire union representation. Piror to becoming Regional Director, Ms. Kentov had been Regional Attorney in the national Labor Relations Board’s Brooklyn, New York office.
