Mac Stipanovich and Jim Magill Listed as Top Republicans in Florida

    Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Tallahassee shareholder John McKager "Mac" Stipanovich and James P. Magill, a government affairs consultant, have been named 2009 Florida Influencers by Politics Magazine.   

      The Influencers, presented by Campaigns & Elections’ Politics magazine, is a new regular feature designed to help people navigate the treacherous waters of state-level politics. The Influencers is a catalog of the hundred most important opinion brokers in each state.

      Mac Stipanovich is a shareholder and the Administrative and Legislative Advocacy Practice Leader.  He represents entities before state government agencies, the Governor and Cabinet, and the legislature.  In the early 1980s, Mr. Stipanovich served as Campaign Director for Bob Martinez.  In addition, Mr. Stipanovich was former Chief of Staff for Bob Martinez, Governor of Florida.  From 1993-1994, he served as Senior Advisor for the Jeb Bush for Governor Campaign.  Mr. Stipanovich received his B.A., With Honors, and his J.D., With High Honors, from the University of Florida.

      Jim Magill, a government affairs consultant, represents individuals and entities having interests before the Florida legislature, state agencies, and the Governor and Cabinet.  In the 1980s, Mr. Magill served as Director of Scheduling, and Deputy Campaign Director for Bob Martinez.  He also served as Director of Senate Campaigns for the Republican Party of Florida 1993-1996. From 2002-2004, he served as Director of Legislative Affairs for Governor Jeb Bush.  Mr. Magill received his B.A., from the South Florida University.
