Tampa, FL – Andrew L. McIntosh has joined the law firm of Fowler White Boggs as a shareholder in the Business Transactions and Corporate Law Practice Group in its Tampa office. His practice is concentrated on business law matters, including corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt transactions, joint ventures, aspects of international franchising, licensing and asset-based lending. His clients include mid-sized private companies operating in such business areas as: technology sales and consulting services; importation and distribution; commercial and residential furniture manufacturing and sourcing; staff services; marketing and public relations; franchising and distribution; and other commercial activities having interests in the US or Canada.

Mr. McIntosh is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He earned his J.D. from Florida State University and his LL.B. from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He received his undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University at Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He also is licensed to practice law in Ontario, Canada and serves as Honorary Consul for Canada. He joins Fowler White from the law firm of DLA Piper.
Mr. McIntosh was appointed to serve as Honorary Consul for Canada, at Tampa, pursuant to the Government of Canada’s “Enhanced Representation Initiative.” His primary role is to facilitate trade and investment activities through the Canadian Consulate General at Miami, assisting Canadian businesses with interests in Florida and U.S. firms desiring to do business in Canada. He also supports academic and cultural exchange and consular affairs involving Canadian elements.
