Steven Marcus Joins Fowler White Boggs in Fort Lauderdale Office

Fort Lauderdale, FL - Fowler White Boggs continues to expand its Fort Lauderdale office announcing that Steven W. Marcus has joined the firm’s Business, Banking and Insolvency Litigation Practice Group.    

According to Terrence Russell, managing shareholder of Fowler White’s Fort Lauderdale office,  “The addition of Mr. Marcus is another significant step in the implementation of our strategic growth plan.  We are truly excited about the knowledge and experience Steve will bring to our firm.”

Mr. Marcus represents clients in multiple areas of business and commercial litigation, including large and small corporations in various industries, developers, financial institutions and property owners. He also defends consumer claims, including those arising under the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Mr. Marcus currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), South Florida Chapter, where he actively participates in the recruitment of corporate sponsors and fund-raising events.

Prior to joining Fowler White Boggs, Mr. Marcus was a partner at Ruden McClosky, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, his M.A., summa cum laude, from University of South Florida and his B.A. from University of South Florida.
