Tampa, FL - Conrad J. Lazo has joined the law firm of Fowler White Boggs as Of Counsel in the Firm’s Tampa office. Mr. Lazo practices primarily in areas of construction law, surety law and general commercial litigation, and has achieved the status of Florida Bar Board Certified Construction Attorney. He is capable of providing both legal representation and technical assistance with respect to all aspects of building design and construction. Mr. Lazo also has experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating highly technical and custom tailored construction and design contracts for a variety of different project types.
Mr. Lazo is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and an American Arbitration Association Arbitrator. He was previously approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to serve as a speaker for continuing education programs required for all licensed contractors in the State of Florida. Mr. Lazo has recently been named as one of “Tampa’s Best Lawyers” in 2010 by The Tampa Bay Business Journal and has been selected for Florida Super Lawyers in Construction Law on two separate occasions.

Prior to joining Fowler White Boggs, Mr. Lazo was a partner with the law firm of Gurley Dramis Lazo. He earned his Bachelor of Design in Architecture, and his second Bachelor in Building Construction, from the University of Florida and his J.D., from Nova Southeastern University Law Center. He also participated in Post-Baccalaureate studies in business while working on a construction project at the University of Virginia. Mr. Lazo is admitted to practice before the United States Middle District of Florida and the District of Puerto Rico.
