Fowler White Boggs Names New Shareholders

        Tampa, FL – Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that six former associates, Andrew B. Demers, Kendra L. Gaugush, Jason Moyer, David C. Potter, Joshua Smith, and Lindsey R. Trowell have been named shareholders of the Firm.

            Andrew B. Demers practices in the Firm’s Tampa office and is a member of the Business, Banking and Insolvency Litigation Practice Group.  His practice focuses on representing banking and commercial clients in business litigation and commercial contract disputes.  He has represented clients including Fortune 500 companies, state agencies, private lenders, energy companies and regional businesses in litigation and mediation in federal and state courts.  Mr. Demers also has experience representing clients on issues including corporate dissolutions, construction disputes, franchise disputes, and constitutional claims.  Mr. Demers received his B.S. from the University of Florida, With Honors, and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

        Kendra L. Gaugush practices in the Firm’s Tampa office and is a member of the Commercial, Property and Probate Litigation Practice Group. She practices in real estate litigation; general real estate matters; commercial and residential foreclosures; lender liability; condominium and planned unit developments; construction and permanent financing; property acquisition and development; commercial leasing; homeowners associations; title insurance; eminent domain; inverse condemnation and telecommunication litigation and leasing. Ms. Gaugush represents clients such as banks, lending institutions, telecommunications companies and real property developers.  She received her B.A., cum laude, from George Mason University and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.

        Jason Moyer is a Board Certified Construction lawyer with the Firm’s Tampa office, and is a member of the Commercial, Property and Probate Litigation Practice Group.  His practice focuses on construction law and commercial disputes.  Mr. Moyer's past experience includes the representation of Forbes 400 Private and Fortune 500 companies, regional general contractors, developers and subcontractors in contract and other disputes.  He received his B.A. from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.

        David C. Potter practices in the Firm’s Fort Myers office and is a member of the Business, Banking and Insolvency Litigation Practice Group. His practice includes general business and commercial litigation and employment law.  Mr. Potter completed a two-year federal court clerkship before joining the Firm.  He regularly represents both corporate clients and individual clients in state and federal court.  He received his B.A., cum laude, from Hofstra University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law.

        Joshua Smith practices in the Firm’s Tampa office and is a member of the Commercial, Property and Probate Litigation Practice Group.  His past experience includes commercial and business litigation matters, contract disputes, real estate disputes, eminent domain, partnership disputes, and government contracting.  Mr. Smith represents clients such as regional and national businesses, banks, lending institutions, and government contractors.  He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. 

        Lindsey R. Trowell practices in the Firm’s Jacksonville office and is a member of the Insurance, Health Care and Class Action Practice Group. Mr. Trowell has experience in class actions, complex commercial and securities litigation.  Some of his representative areas of practice include defense of class actions on behalf of insurers, business entities, and management for alleged improper market conduct or business practices, representation of brokers-dealers, investment advisers, financial institutions, public and private companies, and individuals in a wide range of securities matters including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings involving the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and state regulatory agencies.  Mr. Trowell received his B.S.B.A., With Honors, from the University of Florida, his M.B.A. from Stetson University and his J.D. cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.
