The award presentation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011, at the University of Tampa. The annual Earth Charter US Sustainable Business Awards were developed in partnership with the University of Tampa’s John Sykes College of Business Center for Ethics. These awards are given to Tampa area businesses demonstrating excellence in focusing on People (employee and community wellbeing), Planet (environmental health), and Profit (economic performance).
As Earth Charter Board Member and Co-Chair for the Sustainable Business Awards, Andrew L. McIntosh will be spearheading the event on behalf of the Firm. Mr. McIntosh is a shareholder in the Firm’s corporate law practice. He has significant experience in advising individuals and business entities in a wide range of areas, including business organizations, mergers and acquisitions, securities, franchising and distribution, debt financing, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and consumer credit matters.
Mr. McIntosh is also a member of the Firm's Green Law Industry Team, providing advice on issues concerning sustainability and green building matters. He also provides guidance on incentive programs designed to support the development of green initiatives.
