Fort Lauderdale, FL – Glenn M. Cooper has joined the law firm of Fowler White Boggs as a shareholder in the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Mr. Cooper’s practice focuses on assisting foreign companies and investors with the legal aspects of establishing and maintaining business and investment in the U.S., particularly in the state of Florida. His practice also includes corporate, business and contract law whereby he oftentimes becomes general counsel to his international business clients. Mr. Cooper assists international clients regarding U.S. immigration laws and he helps clients secure business and investor visas such as the L-1, E-1, E-2, H-1B and O-1 visas as well as U.S. permanent residence.

Fluent in French, Mr. Cooper has lectured to business audiences in France regarding legal issues associated with setting up a U.S. company, investment or joint ventures and immigration considerations at seminars organized by the French government and French Business Chambers. Mr. Cooper has been interviewed on French national television. He often counsels French clients on Florida and U.S. legal matters. He also speaks Spanish and works with clients from Latin America and Spain.
Mr. Cooper is a member of The Florida Bar including the International Law Section and is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors and is an active member of the International Advisory Committee of the Beacon Council, the official economic development agency of Miami-Dade County. Mr. Cooper is Vice-President and serves on the Board of Directors of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Mr. Cooper received his B.S. in International Business with a Minor in French and Spanish from the University of Florida in 1995 and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1998 where he was president of the International Law Students Association.
