Fort Lauderdale, FL – Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Kelly H. Kolb has joined the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and will practice in the Employment and Immigration Practice Group.
Mr. Kolb has defended employment claims for over 20 years before state and federal courts, administrative bodies and arbitration panels. He has successfully defended state and federal discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, FLSA overtime, wrongful termination, wage, and unemployment claims. He has fought FLSA overtime compliance audits by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, and has successfully litigated FLSA collective action overtime suits. Kelly has successfully litigated ERISA and COBRA claims, defending both employers and plan administrators. He has drafted and successfully enforced and voided non-compete agreements in the petroleum, health care and financial services industries. Mr. Kolb serves clients in the marine, healthcare, video retail, aerospace and electronics industries.

Prior to joining Fowler White Boggs, Mr. Kolb was a partner with Ruden McClosky. He is AV peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Kolb is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Federal Circuits and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
