April 2, 2010

Denise L. Wheeler, Office Managing Shareholder of Fowler White's Fort Myers office and member of the Employment Practice, published a guest column on April 2, 2010 in the Tampa Bay Business Journal, "Employers can save green by recycling employees."  According to Wheeler, employers who cut back their workforce may end up rehiring those same employees when things get better. In her column, Ms. Wheeler outlined 10 of the top factors the IRS and a court will look at in making the determination whether a worker is an independent contractor or an employee.  Click here to read the full article.  For employment questions, contact Denise Wheeler.
