Chris Paradies Elected Vice Chair of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum

    Tampa, FL - Christopher Paradies, Ph.D., a shareholder with the law firm of Fowler White Boggs, was elected Vice Chair of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum.

    The mission of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum is to grow and promote Tampa Bay's technology ecosystem. Through events, education, networking, advocacy and philanthropy programs, TBTF provides targeted forums that bring all the constituents of this ecosystem together to advance our industry and member objectives.

    Mr. Paradies leads the Intellectual Property Practice Group.  He is Florida Bar Certified in intellectual property law which includes patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights and is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Mr. Paradies' practice is focused on assisting clients with management of all of their intellectual property, including acquisition, licensing, enforcement in the courts and defense against claims of infringement.  He has extensive experience as both a researcher in industry and a patent attorney.  Technical areas of expertise include nanotechnology, materials science, semiconductor processing, chemistry, aerospace, medical treatments, medical devices and drug delivery.  He received his B.S. in physics from the United States Military Academy, West Point, his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his J.D., summa cum laude, from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
