LT Lafferty Authors Guest Column on Ethical Vigilance
Latour “LT” Lafferty, Practice Leader of the Firm’s White Collar Crime, Government Investigations, and Compliance and Ethics and a former federal prosecutor, recently authored a guest column for the Orlando Sentinel titled “Step up Ethical Vigilance to Fix Public Corruption.” According to Lafferty, Florida has a widespread corruption crisis. He says the way to cleanse the system and restore public faith in elected officials at all levels would be to invest the Florida Commission on Ethics with greater power.
