Jacksonville, FL - Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Mary Scheps Scott has joined the Firm as an associate in the Jacksonville office. Ms. Scott practices in the Firm’s Business and Appellate Litigation Practice and will concentrate her practice in business and commercial litigation including commercial debt collections, construction lien law, and bankruptcy law.
She is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. Ms. Scott has served on the 2007-2008 Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Women lawyers Association (JWLA) as the Director of Membership and Events and on the 2009-2010 Board of the JWLA as President.
Prior to joining Fowler White Boggs, Ms. Scott was an associate with Rumrell, Costabel, Warrington & Brock, LLP. Ms. Scott is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She received her B.S. from the University of Alabama and her J.D. from Tulane University Law School.
