Thomas E. Gibbs was the founding partner of the Jacksonville office of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae (now Dewey & LeBoeuf). He practices in the areas of corporate acquisitions and mergers, general corporate matters, insurance law and regulatory matters pertaining to financial institutions. He also has substantial international law experience.

Mr. Gibbs has served as an officer and a director of numerous corporations, public and private, foreign and domestic. He was president of The Charter Company's Insurance Group and senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of The Charter Company. Mr. Gibbs also held numerous offices with Consolidated International Group, Inc. Currently, he serves as vice chairman of the Board of Directors for Black Diamond Group, and as Chairman of the Board for the Florida Bank of Jacksonville.
