Glenn M. Cooper’s practice focuses on assisting U.S. companies, foreign companies, investors and professionals regarding U.S. immigration laws whereby he helps clients secure business and investor visas such as the L-1, E-1, E-2, H-1B and O-1 visas. He also assists clients regarding U.S. permanent residence and naturalization applications. Additionally, he advises U.S. employers regarding immigration compliance including I-9 and E-Verify. His practice also includes advising clients on corporate, business and contract law matters. Fluent in French, Mr. Cooper has lectured to business audiences in France regarding legal issues associated with setting up a U.S. company, investment or joint ventures as well as immigration considerations at seminars organized by the French government and French Business Chambers. Mr. Cooper has been interviewed on French national television. He also speaks Spanish and works with clients from Latin America and Spain. Mr. Cooper is a member of The Florida Bar including the International Law Section and is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors and is an active member of the International Advisory Committee of the Beacon Council, the official economic development agency of Miami-Dade County. He is Vice-Chair of Public Policy for the Government Affairs Group of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, the largest chamber of commerce in Florida, where he focuses on advocacy for Florida business constituents regarding immigration and international business matters. Mr. Cooper is also a member of the International Committee of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Cooper routinely travels to Washington, DC and Tallahassee to advocate for the Florida business community regarding immigration and international business issues through meetings with members of Congress, the state legislature and the Federal and State agencies as well as the Governor. Mr. Cooper is Vice-President and serves on the Board of Directors of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
