Calvin Hayes practices in the area of complex commercial litigation.  His litigation experience includes representing individuals, businesses, financial service institutions, and health care entities in state and federal court.  Mr. Hayes is experienced in representing clients in state and federal government investigations and in conducting internal investigations.  He has also represented financial service institutions and their officers and directors.  Mr. Hayes' practice often involves class actions and he has defended clients in class actions involving: fraud, false advertising, unfair trade practices, securities, sales tax, breach of contract, privacy statutes, antitrust law, Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), mass torts, product liability, and toxic substance exposure.  He is experienced in litigating statewide and national class actions in both Florida state and federal courts. He serves as Co-Chair of the Mass Torts Subcommittee of the ABA Class Actions and Derivative Suits Committee.
