Rema Awad practices in the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group. She focuses her practice in the areas of corporate law, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.

Her practice includes serving as outside general counsel to businesses of all sizes, and has extensive experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity placements, reporting with the Securities and Exchange Commission, venture capital investments, corporate and partnership recapitalizations, and cross-border transactions. She represents clients in the technology, entertainment, consumer product and services industries. She has assisted private equity firms make investments in privately-held companies, as well as represented companies in angel, venture capital and private equity transactions.

Ms. Awad has significant experience in the area of intellectual property law including, trademarks and copyrights.  Prior to joining Fowler White Boggs, Ms. Awad served as in-house counsel for PARC Management, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida.
