Nicholas Banegas concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on commercial, immigration and labor and employment matters. He has experience as a civil litigator in cases involving various labor, commercial and investment disputes including representing investors with claims in excess of US $100 million in the largest financial fraud case in Florida history.
Prior to undertaking his legal career, Mr. Banegas served his country in the United States Army for several years. During his military career, Mr. Banegas served in Korea as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (“NCOIC”) of the United Nations Command Security Battalion Office of Intelligence. As NCOIC, Mr. Banegas managed a team of intelligence analysts and armed security agents in the collection of physical and electronic intelligence along the North Korean border. Prior to his service in the Republic of Korea, Mr. Banegas was deployed to Afghanistan as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.
