Seventeen attorneys were named to Florida Trend magazine's 2012 Legal Elite list. The Florida Legal Elite represents 1.8% of the over 64,000 active Florida Bar lawyers practicing in Florida, according to the results of the magazine's statewide attorney surveys. E. Three attorneys were named to the 2012 Who’s Who in Corporate Immigration and Management Labour & Employment. William J. Flynn, III, and Jennifer G. Roeper were named in the Corporate Immigration category and Cathy J. Beveridge was named in the Management Labour & Employment category. Who's Who Legal, first published in 1996, seeks to identify the foremost legal practitioners in multiple areas of business law. In total, they recognize over 10,000 of the world's leading private practice lawyers from over 100 national jurisdictions.
Fowler White Boggs Receives Award for Women Empowerment
The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) has recognized Fowler White Boggs with its 2012 Gold Standard Certification for integrating women into the highest levels of firm leadership. This is the second year in a row Fowler White Boggs has been awarded this certification. The Gold Standard Certification emphasizes the leadership roles achieved by women partners, rather than the overall number or percentage of women in the partnership. Law firms with 100 or more practicing lawyers in the United States were eligible if they successfully demonstrated that women represent a meaningful percentage of their equity partners, of their highest leadership positions, of their governance and compensation committees, and of their most highly compensated partners.
Fowler White Boggs recognized as a 2012 Platinum Level Fit-Friendly Company by the American Heart Association
For the second consecutive year, Fowler White Boggs has been recognized as a Platinum Level Fit-Friendly Company by the American Heart Association. Fowler White Boggs is the only company in the Tampa Bay area, and one of a handful nationwide, to earn the platinum level designation - the highest honor from the American Heart Association. Designed to be a catalyst for positive change in American business, the Fit Friendly award recognizes employers who champion the health of their employees by creating a culture of physical activity and wellness within the workplace. To achieve the platinum level status, employers must implement at least nine criteria outlined by the American Heart Association in the areas of physical activity, nutrition and wellness culture, as well as demonstrate measurable outcomes.
Fowler White Boggs Recognized In South Florida Legal Guide’s 2013 Edition
Eleven attorneys were listed among “Top Lawyers” by practice area in the South Florida Legal Guide’s 2013 edition. Additionally, the firm was recognized in the Top Law Firm category as one of the top law firms in South Florida.
